The Mary Jo Wegner Adventure and Learning Conservatory

Master Plan for a new experience at an existing arboretum. The main project goal was to strengthen the connections between plants and people with an emphasis on horticulture. Exhibits include Flora the great big Burr Oak – a multi story climber, the Acorn Academy greenhouse lab, Plantworks maker lab, and Prairie Perch – a gallery for early childhood.
